Zurich Seguros extends its main sponsorship of the Zurich Maratón San Sebastián until 2028

- Zurich Seguros has renewed its commitment to the San Sebastian race for four years and will continue to be the race’s title sponsor until 2028.
- The Zurich Maratón San Sebastián began with this sponsorship in 2016, which has favoured its international projection and has made it part of the Zurich Big 5 Circuit.
Zurich Seguros and the organisers of the Zurich Maratón San Sebastián (UTE Donosti Eventos and RPM SPORTS by Experientia) have renewed their sponsorship agreement as title sponsor of the great athletics event in Donostia until 2028. With this extension, Zurich Seguros reinforces its commitment to running and to one of the most emblematic races in the national and international calendar, which is currently part of the Zurich Big 5 Circuit.
Since Zurich Seguros became the main sponsor of the Donostia marathon in 2016, this event has experienced significant growth, consolidating itself as one of the state’s marathons of reference for both national and international runners. Thanks to this collaboration, the event has been able to improve in key aspects such as the experience of the participants or the international projection of the race.

With this renewal, the Zurich Maratón San Sebastián will continue its path towards excellence, remaining a benchmark in the panorama of the great European marathons and offering runners from all over the world the opportunity to enjoy a spectacular route through the capital of Gipuzkoa. The next edition of the race will have a distance of 42km.

About the Zurich San Sebastian Marathon
The Zurich Maratón San Sebastián is the second-oldest marathon in Spain and one of the most prestigious in Europe. With a fast, central circuit, it attracts runners from all over the world. Held in a unique setting, it offers participants an unforgettable experience in one of the most beautiful cities in the north of the Iberian Peninsula. This year the race will be held on Sunday 23 November and aims to repeat last year’s ‘sold out’ with more than 10,000 registered runners from 63 different countries. For the third consecutive year, San Sebastián will form part of Zurich’s ‘Big 5’ circuit, together with the Valencia, Barcelona, Madrid and Seville Marathons. The race will also include a 10K.
