The start from Hernani Street, in the heart of San Sebastián, next to the City Hall and the Alerdi Eder gardens, is the best place for the runners to feel the support of the public before the start. A great atmosphere accompanies the runners during the 3 laps of the complete route, one short and two long asymmetrical laps, running through the main streets of the city centre for the first few kilometres, before heading along Avenida de la Libertad towards La Concha and the Antiguo neighbourhood. On the way back, the race will pass through the neighbourhoods of Amara, Anoeta, the centre and Gros, passing in front of such emblematic buildings as the Vitoria Eugenia Theatre, the Anoeta Stadium, the Buen Pastor Cathedral, the Kursaal and the Plaza Gipuzkoa.
